Individual Athlete Program

In sports where ACTAS does not have a squad program, athletes may apply for an individual scholarship. The Individual Athlete Program currently supports ACT and regional elite athletes from a variety of Olympic, Paralympic and non-Olympic sports.

Scholarship holders receive access to a range of high performance support services through ACTAS to assist them in reaching their sporting potential.

These support services include:

  • Performance: Science, Nutrition, Psychology
  • Strength and Conditioning
  • Sports Medicine
  • Competition Support
  • Personal Excellence
  • Program Management

Individual Athlete Program Applications

Applications are now open for the 2017 Individual Athlete Program and will close 5pm on Wednesday 17 May 2017.

Individual Athlete Program scholarships are available to athletes (able-bodied and athletes with a disability) in sports where ACTAS does not currently host a squad program. In 2017 ACTAS has partnered squad programs with the following sports: Athletics, Cycling, Football (Women), Hockey, Netball, Rowing,*Swimming (*partnership discussions underway).

Please ensure all application forms are submitted to ACTAS from the relevant National Sporting Organisation by COB Wednesday 17 May.
