Raising Funds through the Australian Sports Foundation

The Australian Sports Foundation (ASF), Sport Incentive Program (SIP) works in partnership with sporting and community clubs of all sizes to raise funds for projects that will enhance their club or sport. Whether you're raising funds to build a new clubhouse or team rooms, upgrading lighting, purchasing sports equipment, or raising funds to improve coaching, support team travel or many other sporting projects, partnering with the ASF through SIP is a great way to attract donors.

By registering your project with ASF, donations made through the ASF are tax deductible (donation of $2 or more). Donors can nominate a project as their preferred beneficiary, with those funds provided to the project by the ASF through a grant.

ASF will help organisations with marketing and fundraising ideas and provide guidance on your project as required. ASF will also help raise the profile of your project by showcasing it on their website through your own project page, including providing you with online donation facilities to make processing donations and managing your fundraising project easier.

The online assessment should take no longer than 30 minutes to complete. It is recommended that two or three people from your club complete the online assessment together.
