CANBERRA’S OFFICIAL AND PREMIER SPORTING AWARDS
Sport brings our community together, building pride in our city and breaking down barriers of culture, class, and gender. In 2023 we take time to reflect on the outstanding work of the ACT sporting community and celebrate those individuals and teams who have excelled. There have been some magnificent ACT sporting achievements throughout the past 12 months.
In 2023 we are, again, holding the annual gala event to celebrate the excellence, resilience, commitment and the innovation that’s been displayed by sportspeople, local clubs and volunteers. We will be announcing our finalists and winners within an exciting and engaging event.
The 2023 CBR Sport Awards Gala Dinner event will be held on Thursday 23 November 2023 at Manuka Oval.
The event will be host by Sarah Jones who is a trailblazing TV host with over 20 years in the industry. She made history as the first female AFL match host and final host, paving the way for women in sports. Joining Foxtel in 2001, Sarah covered major events like the Ashes, Melbourne Cups and the Olympics. She’s a Fox Footy favourite, spearheading Thursday night football and interviewing top stars.
