Narrabundah Ballpark – Stage 2 Upgrade
Community Engagement Process
The Narrabundah Ballpark will undergo a $4.5 million upgrade as part of the 2016–17 ACT Budget, emphasising the government’s commitment to providing quality sporting facilities for Canberrans.
The funding will be used to improve the grandstand, concessions, and player and spectator amenities at the Ballpark, as well as address parking and traffic at the facility.
With detailed design expected to commence in the coming months, those interested in learning more about the project can attend a community drop-in session on Tuesday 2 August 2016 from 4:30pm – 6:30pm at the Ballpark. In addition, , Active Canberra will give a presentation to the Old Narrabundah Community Council on Monday 8 August 2016 from 7pm at the Narrabundah Tennis Centre, Kootara St, Narrabundah. Representatives from Active Canberra and the Canberra Cavalry will be at both events to answer any questions.
